What Was The Goal?
Holne Chase Primary School approached us with a clear objective: they wanted a short video to highlight their school ethos and introduce a new initiative:
Building Aspiration for Tomorrow’s Changemakers
The final edit is a bright, uplifting and emotive video that reflects the school’s energy and values. It’s now used across social media and in presentations to parents, staff, and the wider community.
The idea was to let the children tell the story themselves, focusing on the school’s values and how pupils are encouraged to grow into confident, caring, and curious young people.
A script was developed, made up of short lines delivered by a mix of pupils across different year groups. The messaging was simple but powerful.
We shot a combination of interview-style footage and general school life, including classroom scenes and group activities. The children were guided through their lines in a relaxed, low-pressure way to help them feel confident and enjoy the process.
To bring everything together, the final video also included custom motion graphics and animated elements that added clarity, energy, and a touch of fun to the messaging.
The project was delivered within a week of filming and has since become a key part of the school’s communications toolkit.
A filming day in school was always going to bring a great mix of energy and unpredictability, and Holne Chase certainly delivered both.
The children were brilliant on camera, helped massively by the staff who created such a warm and relaxed environment.
While the filming felt natural and low-pressure for the pupils, a lot of care went into the technical setup. We used a full lighting setup to get the best from each space, along with high-quality sound capture to make sure every word came through clearly.
Everything was set up and packed down around the school day to keep things running smoothly.
